This article explains how to update a tenant's profile when they move from one building to another within the same portfolio. You'll learn how to add the new building, remove the old building, and set the correct primary building.
When to Use This Process
Use these steps when a company moves from one building to another and tenant profiles need to reflect the new location. This process removes the old building assignment and adds the new one.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the User Profile
Locate and open the user profile that needs to be updated.
2. Open the Tenant Roles Tab
Click on the "Tenant roles" tab within the user profile to view current building assignments.
3. Add the New Building
In the Buildings section, add the new building assignment by clicking the "ADD" button. Select the appropriate building from the available options.
4. Remove the Old Building
Find the old building in the buildings list and click the "X" or remove button next to it to delete the assignment.
5. Set the Primary Building
Select the new building as the primary building using the dropdown menu. This ensures the user's default building is correctly configured.
6. Save Your Changes
Click the "Save" button to apply all changes to the user profile.
Important Notes
All changes must be saved before navigating away from the user profile, or your updates will be lost. Always verify that the correct building is set as primary before saving.
