Overview
The HqO notification center provides a centralized location to view all app notifications. This feature keeps you informed about updates and activities within your building, helping you stay connected and engaged.
Accessing Your Notifications
To view your notifications:
- Tap the bell icon on the app home screen

Your notification center will display all recent notifications
Understanding Notification Types
Interactive Notifications:
- Display an arrow icon
- Tap to navigate directly to the related content
Informational Notifications:
- No arrow icon displayed
- Cannot be tapped (information only)
Managing Notifications
Deleting Notifications
- Swipe right to left on any notification
- Tap the delete icon
Marking Notifications as Read
- Swipe left to right on any notification
- Tap "mark as read"
Marking Notifications as Unread
- Swipe left to right on any notification

Multi-Building Support
If you are associated with multiple buildings, you will receive notifications for each building. This ensures you stay informed regardless of which building you are currently viewing in the app.
How Notification Settings Work
Device-Level Settings
If you disable push notifications at the device level:
- You will not receive any push notifications
- All notifications will still appear in your in-app notification center for review
App-Level Category Settings
If you keep device push notifications enabled:
- You can control notifications by category within the app
- You will receive push notifications only for the categories you have enabled
- This applies separately for each building
This flexible approach ensures you stay informed while controlling how and when you receive notifications based on your preferences.
